Simon a.k.a. "SimSimon"

R. I. P.
August 24, 1991 - January 21, 2005

Simon was known 'round this website on our "About Us" pages and was a muse for some "SimSimon" objects (gathered below). After struggling with unregulated diabetes, an adenocarcinoma mass (cancer) was discovered in his chest that was too well metastasized (spread) to be treatable. He really went downhill fast shortly after showing his first symptoms. Simon had a personality that was unmatched and was my best bud for over 13 years, by my side through many "interesting" phases of my life and moving with me wherever I lived. I'm not much for words, except to say that he will be sorely sorely missed. This was always my favorite pic of him (above) so I used it to make a Sims 2 tribute object, posted on Jan. 21, 2006, exactly one year after his passing. I hope you enjoy this download and gracing your homes with him. :)

Simon, the 30 pound Maincoon pet cat pictured here, was my cat and best bud for 13 years, shown here at age 10 (in 2001 when this object was originally made). In the game, he just scoots around in a "laying down" position. That's because in real life, every time I tried to take his picture in a "standing up" position, he'd run at the camera and rub his face on it, and I couldn't get a good shot. Gotta love him! So I could only use the "laying down" pics for this object, which is appropriate because he laid around a lot anyway. :) I hope your Sims love him as much as we did here in the real world.
