NOTE: If installing the Makin' Magic expansion or any official patch, you may need to remove some of these files from your game first. Carefully read all requirements below before adding anything new to your game.
ABOUT UNOFFICIAL PATCHES:Unofficial fixes, upgrades and programs below have requirements that are clearly stated. ALWAYS read the instructions in the readme files before installing anything new. All patches here are well tested and wouldn't be posted on Simslice if they were problematic. However, every game is different. So if you install a patch and, either nothing changes or you experience further problems, do not save the game. Quit the game and remove the file - it's that simple. Things will revert back to the way they were the next time you play the game.

Unofficial Patches Note for all patches: Be sure to download the file for your specific install. If you have Makin' Magic, Double Deluxe or The Sims Complete Collection, Download the Makin' Magic version. Any other expansions you may or may not have are irrelevant for usage of these files.

Description: Gorilla Walk: This problem hasn't been officially fixed since Unleashed came out. This unofficial patch solves the problem of women walking like gorillas (if that bothers you). You can also get the Visitor Skills and Join Activity upgrades without the Gorilla Walk Fix if you want (separate download, also available in this section)
Visitor Skills: It will also allow Sims to use visitor-enabled skill-building objects on any away-from-home lots. Visitors to your home also can earn skills just as your Sims do... and visiting Sims will be able to use skill objects even if their moods are too low.
Join Activity: This will also allow visitors to join you in group activities without needing to greet them first. Also, NPCs can join you as well! (There are some exceptions to this - please see the readme for details).

Requires Makin' Magic, and some require other expansions too, see details in the enclosed readme files.Description: As some of you know, the game can now check your computer to determine how many visitors it can handle in an away-from-home lot, and then it adjusts your game accordingly. Some report that the low (or no) visitor turnout is too much, and makes the game much less fun. If that sounds like you, then now you can have more sims visiting your Magic Town lots, your Studio Town lots, your Old Town lots, your Downtown lots, and your Vacation lots! This has been very well tested. But do not use this fix unless you have been experiencing a low turnout of visitors arriving on one or more of your away-from-home lots.
There are two downloadable versions here: one is the standard no visitor fix. This worked just fine for the vast majority of affected testers. The other download is a 'lite' version, for those that didn't like the standard version. The 'lite' version does the same thing, but brings fewer extra visitors than the standard version does. Both require Makin' Magic to use. In each download are the files for each away lot (Downtown, Vacation Island, Old Town, Studiotown and Magictown). Just pick and choose the one(s) that apply to your game -- it's that simple! More details are in the enclosed readme files, please read them. :)

Description: Place the original Sims 1 flowers and shrubs through other objects, indoors, on the water - and even place the flowers on slopes as well! Expand your decorating choices - plantflowers where your bushes are, hide objects in the hedges, or surround objects with roses - the list goes on...
Description: There have been many unexplained sightings of Bartender Waylon, straying away from his post and clogging up street traffic in Studio Town. If this has been a problem for you, this fix will keep Bartender Waylon from showing up in your Studio Town in any form whatsoever. It will also remove the star that appears above his head, and will give him the correct thumbnail pics to be used in the speech bubbles (thereby replacing the incorrect dark-skinned male pics that came with him in the game).
Just place both the Bar.iff and NPC_RaveWaylon.iff files in your ExpansionPack3 folder, and your Studio Town lots will never be plagued by his presence again! NOTE: This is by Sir_Laphelot and is a newer and better version than the original fix he posted on TSR.
Description: This upgrade will allow the Recliner to be placed against a table for dining, and the footstool can overhang the water or the edge of a pool - or even a slope. This upgrade will also allow your sims (and other visitors) to nap in this comfy recliner - at home or away from home, and while napping, they can now sleep until their energy reaches near 10 - and at a slightly faster rate than before too.
Just place ReclinerMassage.iff file in your ExpansionPack6 folder, and your neighbors won't be as cranky! Read the enclosed readme file for more information.
Description: This will increase the hunger value of the Superstar Sushi cart two to three times the original, depending on the price of the item. It gives a small comfort increase as well - plus an extra boost if comfort is way too low.

Description: Believe it or not, it takes three original smoothies to equal a hunger value of 2. With this upgrade, you'll only need one to get that. The hunger value slightly varies according to price - plus a little comfort is provided also.

Description: This will allow you to place the new 9-tile Willow and Sycamore trees almost anywhere you want! Inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs, through the wall, on the water, in the pool, on a floor tile, on a slope, in the air - even in the middle of another object!
You can also plant flowers underneath them, or place more than one tree in the same spot. (There's a house in the pic above - can you see it?)

Description: Now your sims won't have to eat twenty Big Macs the size of their heads to fill them up! It will increase hunger to reasonable levels and reduce the oversized food items to a more believable size. (The pictures you see here are the actual size in the game).
Just place the "McDFood.iff" in your McFoodCart folder (under Downloads) and all the other files (the .bcf's and .skn's) in your Skins folder.

Description: Now you can have a choice to buy 10, buy 20, buy 40 or even buy 80 of your favorite vegetables, in addition to the original one or five! You can now also place the vegetable cart Downtown, so you won't need to drag out the whole family just to buy vegetables. Gardener Bob will be there as well. You can also place it on a Vacation or Studio Town lot if you want (but not at home).
Just unzip and put this CartUnleashed.iff file in your ExpansionPack5 folder, and have fun.

Description: Cheap Eats Counter Upgrade: This will give the pizza and burgers from the cheap eats counter a hunger value 2 1/2 times the original, bringing them up to an acceptable level. It will also solve the problem of burger plates not being empty when finished. Just unzip and place the FoodHD.iff file in your ExpansionShared folder and you're all set.

Description: This file controls the pastry and also the espresso from the pastry and espresso carts in Unleashed. With this upgrade, drinking the espresso will max out your Energy level (instead of the tiny little sliver of Energy like it originally gives) and eating the pastry will give a Hunger of about 4 instead of 1 (after all, it is only a pastry) Just pop the Pastry.iff file in your ExpansionPack5 folder and you're ready to go!
